Thaie Ginn

Owner & Director

Hi! I am Thaie, Founder and Director of the You and I Enrichment Program. Working with children has always been my passion, and from a young age, I knew I wanted to be a teacher, just not the traditional kind! I dreamed of creating a space where creativity, imagination, and hands-on learning would be at the heart of every day.

Originally from Louisiana, I carry with me the warmth, culture, and life lessons that shaped who I am. I furthered my education in Early Childhood Education from UCLA and spent over 18 years as a teacher and supervisor at a private school in Redondo Beach. Over time, the dream to build something of my own grew louder, and that is when the You and I Enrichment Program was born, a place where children are encouraged to think big, play freely, and learn in exciting new ways.

At home, I am a proud mom of two amazing kids, a lovable dog, and bunny rabbit. I also enjoy singing, creating art, and spending time in the garden where I grow fresh fruits and vegetables that we use right here at the daycare. It brings me so much joy to blend nature, creativity, and early education into the everyday experiences of our little learners.

I am so excited to welcome you and your family to our program. Together, we will nurture bright minds and big hearts, one magical moment at a time!

Evelyn Castro-Mada

Office Manager & Spanish Teacher

Hi! My name is Evelyn Castro, and I am the Office Manager and Tutor here at the You and I Enrichment Program. I bring over 15 years of experience in office administration, accounting, and customer service, but more importantly, I bring a genuine love for working with children and families. I am passionate about creating a welcoming, organized, and supportive environment for both parents and children.

I am also a proud mom of three amazing kids, so I understand just how important it is to feel confident and comfortable with the people caring for your little ones. I am bilingual in English and Spanish, which helps me connect with families from diverse backgrounds and ensure everyone feels heard and supported.

Outside of work, I am a big animal lover, a loyal Dodgers fan, and I absolutely love spending time at the beach with my family. I am currently studying business management at Los Angeles Harbor College, with the goal of continuing to grow both personally and professionally.
